USA will definitely loose the MMRCA race in India because of the following reasons:
1) India will never buy F16 IN (export version of F16 to India).Since Pakistan is having it,it will be tough for the Americans to sell the Falcons here.
2) Since India has experienced the sweet flavor of flying Su 30 MKI which has a speed of app Mach 2, India will never opt for an Boeing/McDonnell Douglas F18 aircraft that flies at a speed of Mach 1.8.
3) USA cannot be trusted since they will never transfer the complete technology of these aircrafts to India, basically the key components like -AESA radar technology and other communication devices.
4) Since USA didn't bring another potential multi-role,air-superiority fighter into the race i.e the F15 , there is maximum possibility of US loosing the race.Since F15 is the best of its kind both in speed and technology , its absence will definitely make a gap in the race.
5) Since India bought P-8I Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft & C130JHercules Cargo aircraft from US , there is a possibility of awarding the MMRCA contract to any of the two European consortium (Dassault's Rafale or Eurofighter Typhoon)
